Cancellation by Client

All cancellations must be in writing.

Cancellation of a course by client fourteen days or more prior to course date will result in an 80% refunded of full course fees.

Cancellation if less than fourteen days prior to course date will result in a loss of 100% of the course fee. However, alternative dates will be offered at the discretion of Mountainbikeskills.co.uk

We reserve the right to cancel courses at any time when we feel that riding conditions are unacceptable or for any other un-foreseen circumstances, which are outside of our control. In this event, as much notice as possible will be given, and clients will be offered the following options:

  • Either, the same course on an alternative date,
  • If the course has already commenced when the course is cancelled, you will be offered the same course on a different date, no refund will be given.
  • Full refund.

Payments.

Clients paying using a credit or debit card will be directed to a secure site provided by PayPal. Mountain Bike Skills.co.uk accept no responsibility for any fraud or theft of monies during this secure transfer. Courses paid for online will be reserved immediately.

Confirmation, along with a medical questionnaire, will be emailed via automatic response. The medical questionnaire must be printed off, completed by all participants and forwarded to Mountain Bike Skills, in the event you do not receive confirmation please contact us ASAP.

Courses booked via the mail order option (payments made by cheque) will receive provisional confirmation only and course places will only be reserved on receipt of a cheque for the full amount of courses booked.

Mountainbikeskills.co.uk accepts no liability for any loss, damage or injury to persons or property who are participating on a course. Persons who are participating on a course, do so at their own risk, and when doing so agree to abide by the guidelines laid down by the instructor(s) present at the time.

It is the responsibility of the participant to ride within their limits. If you do not wish to ride on any part of the course, you always have the option to walk.

All participants must ensure that their mountain bikes are suitable for off-road use and are in safe working condition prior to attending courses.

Beginner and intermediate courses

Cycle helmets and gloves must be worn at all times as a minimum requirement. The participant may wish to wear additional protection (elbow and knee pads) when attending our courses.

Advanced courses

Cycle helmets, gloves, knee/shin pads and elbow/forearm pads must be worn at all times as a minimum requirement.

Bike or other equipment failure

Mountainbikeskills.co.uk accept no liability for any loss, damage or injury to persons or property, who are participating on a course due to failure of bike or other equipment. Persons who are participating on a course, do so at their own risk, and when doing so agree to abide by the guidelines laid down by the instructor(s) present at the time.
